Why do I take photographs?
Is it because of an interest in the visual world? Did it start
as a way to record visual shapes?
Yes, I shoot for that moment; do you know the one I am talking about?
But, the question remains; have I captured it?
— Larry Holland – blank stare

Helen O’Donnell graciously agreed to be the first artist to exhibit at Works on Paper’s 7sq Gallery. Helen is a printmaker and her studio, Twin Vixen Press, is located in Brattleboro, Vermont. By layering plates and printing them in different colors, the abstract lines and shapes begin to take form and sit in a landscape.
